The Full Moon in Virgo will illuminate the skies on 18/03/2022 at 18:07 Hrs. This final full moon of the astrological year makes it the perfect time to get practical and clear out the clutter. This can apply to both the material things, giving your home a good clear out and spring clean but also to life in general. What old version of yourself have you evolved from ? What habits, traditions and even relationships have you outgrown.
Full Moons also mark a cycle of completion. Take some time to reflect on what has happened in your life since the Virgo New Moon on 06th September 2021. What goals and intentions did you set for yourself? Where are you on your journey? Where can you give that final push.
In Astrology Virgo rules over the 6th House, the house of work, health and service to others. This fits in with the Virgo traits of hard work, reliability and self-discipline. The ruling planet of Mercury, the planet of communication, also links in with the Virgo tendency for critical and analytical thinking.
In Tarot, Virgo is associated mainly with The Hermit (although tied to The Magician due to Mercury ruler-ship). The traditional image of the lone figure atop the mountain shows the need for solitude, introspection and soul searching in order to gain wisdom and experience. There is also the nod to the hard work and dedication needed to climb the mountain and having obtained their new found enlightenment, the climb back down in order to share this wisdom with others.
In the Minor Arcana, the mutable energy of Virgo is linked to the 8, 9 and 10 of Pentacles. Again showing the qualities of work hard and labour to achieve success and build a legacy.
